I hate American Idol. I really do. I only ever watch the audition episodes because I love seeing hopeless crazy losers having their dreams absolutely crushed. That part is great. Yes, I am evil.
I need to weigh in on some recent movie watchings, as I've actually been going to a lot of movies lately:
IRON MAN: Its pretty darn cool. But you knew that already, because you've most likely seen it at least twice by now. Great comic book movie, and after X-Men 3, Ghost Rider, and Superman Returns, we needed one.
BABY MAMA: Hilarious. Sooooo funny. I didn't know if I should expect a chick flick or a gut busting comedy, and I got gut busting comedy. I saw it with some friends and there were a few in my party laughing so hard they were crying. Seriously.
SPEED RACER: Absolutely AWESOME!!!! I loved this movie, it is one of the ONLY adaptations of a cartoon/comic book/TV show/etc. to just NAIL it! This movie just seems to get everything right. It feels like a modernized, live action anime. From the style, the great effects, the acting, the colors, its just gets everything so... right. I loved it. Its a triumph, and I hope that you like it too. I'm not sure everyone will like it though, its a very unique movie to make it to the mainstream. I'm thinking it will be a love-it-or-hate-it thing, with people loving it and hating it for exactly the same reasons. I loved it, I totally loved it. What I can say for certain, is that you've NEVER seen a movie like "Speed Racer" and if you wanna see it, go see it in the theater with the biggest screen possible, it is totally a "big screen" experience.
And again, come back next week Monday for another comic!
VOTE and see the same thing as before!

Sorry about that, but I'm done making excuses. For anyone reading this, thanks for sticking around!
"Beowulf" was pretty darn cool, which is more than I can say for many of the movies I saw recently. Though I did check out "Drillbit Taylor" and that made me laugh my butt off.
I don't have much else to report, a lot of stuff happened since early January but I can't be bothered with reporting most of it, though I'm sure not many of you are chomping at the bit to find out whats been going on in my life. I turned 21, in Maui no less (nice little family vacation there). Also, I played in my first ever concert in early February. My friends all got together and put on a concert for even more friends since many can play an instrument and are in small, just-for-fun bands. I hopped in with my buddy Tylers band for their 30 minute set and played rhythm guitar for Weezers "Sweater Song" as well as playing guitar AND singing the Ramones "Blitzkrieg Bop." My turn at the mic was one of the best recieved songs of the night! Some nice people filmed the whole show and put some of the highlights on YouTube, and guess who's performance was considered a highlight?!?!? (Hint: It wouldn't be up here if it wasn't me.) Take a look, and hear me "sing":
I finally updated the image for when you VOTE! In fact, its the original version of todays comic! I think the last panel is funnier in the original version, but it seemed a little bit inappropriate for this comic. Maybe not. Either way, I stand by my PG rating for this comic, copius occasional amounts of blood withstanding.
